Overview
Dataset organization
Datasets are first organized by their name. It is advisable that users, particularly those who use ABCD data often, name their datasets in a programmatic way, the same way you would keep files in a project on your computer organized. The name of a project can be set during dataset creation or after the dataset has been created within the dataset details () or by editing the dataset ().
Existing datasets are stored in the My Datasets tab, which is selectable from the left hand menu bar (). Additional ways to organize projects include grouping datasets into Projects
and adding Labels
to them to tag them with searchable themes.
- Dataset name: Individual dataset identifier, cannot be duplicated across datasets.
- My datasets: Repository for all existing datasets, will display labels associated with datasets
- Project: A user created repository/grouping for datasets
- Label: Tags/annotations that can be used to provide keywords or indicators for searching datasets
